In Scottish folklore, the Ghillie Dhu is a faerie who was rejected by the other others, and so lives a solitary existence. He's said to be kind but unpredictable- sometimes helping lost children find their way back home. It's rumoured that he was once a lost child himself.
This is a laporello project that I created- meant to be joined up in a continuous line.
