Sprout and About is a concept design for an app based mobile game with the aim of getting children (and adults) more interested in local biodiversity by presenting plant encounters as monsters that you can collect alongside fun facts about the flora. For example, did you know that nettles were introduced to the United Kingdom by the Romans? They used the plant's stinging properties to warm themselves up. Gnarly.
Each set of monsters will appear as the plants do- in season. And/ or change with the times of year.
